Decor Delights - Product Review

One day while I was at my local quilt shop, I noticed this roll of fabric - it was a bunch of fabric strips formed into a jelly roll shape. Now I was familiar with fabric charms, so now they had come up with something new to tempt my wallet. There is something appealing to me about a stack, roll, or bag full of fabric!

As you know, I don't sell everything that comes out into the marketplace. I am very choosy of what I sell here at Decor Delights - of course it always appeals to me LOL! I am a beginning quilter - I like to sew small projects - and I always have scraps around my studio. This is a great book to combine all that I love about quilting, and maybe it will appeal to you too!

Strippin' Time by J. Jane Mitchell and Patsy Padgett is an 84 page book of strip quilting fun. All of these projects can be made with strips of fabric. No need to buy yardage, just use your scraps and leftovers to make beautiful home decor. There are projects for each month of the year, and each project is made from strips of fabric. Inside the book are large photos of each project, finished sizes, patterns (some need to be enlarged), and excellent written instruction. What I found to be very helpful were the numerous diagrams. I always feel I need a bit of hand-holding when it comes to quilting, and this book is so easy to follow that even I could make these exciting projects.
