If you love to paint really cute projects for Christmas, then you will just have to grab a copy of Chezza's Beary Merry Christmas by Cheryl Bradshaw. Inside are bears (of course), a rustic Santa, snowmen, Christmas roses and few farm animals. This book is 52 pages in length and includes 8 full color pages; two of which are worksheets).

On the book's front cover is the Rustic Down Under Santa. The design is actually painted on an oval wood box. It is part of a nice collection of designs that include rusty bells, tin star hooks, and rusty hearts. These would look great for a "toned-down or more neutral" holiday decor.

A Beary Pretty Collection features an overall color scheme of light teals and off whites. There is sweet dressed-up bear painted on a stocking, more bears painted on wooden snowflakes, and roses painted on a shabby star or heart.

The Just Chillin' Snowbuds Collection is about snow folks and snow bears. Not much to say about this group except - SO CUTE! See for yourself in the scan below.

Other sets of projects I just loved are the Bauble Bears and Les, Denise & Scruff. Bauble bears are made like the Snowbud Bells Bear in the photo above, but painted as brown/tan bears. I love their sculpted ears and noses. As a great companion set, paint Les, Denise & Scruff bears on wooden tags - great for gift giving. The overall colors are maroon and a dark country blue.

On the books' back cover is the Christmas Roses and Plaid Collection. This is a very pretty collection featuring three dressed bears painted on a stocking, roses painted a plaid bottle tote bag, and bear faces and roses painted on the coaster box with coasters set. This collection is for a more elegant Christmas decor.

As always, Cheryl includes excellent instructions and patterns. All these bears could be easily adapted for everyday projects as well as for Christmas - that way you can enjoy them all year long.
