Remove the wooden wheels & hubs and sand all pieces. Remove

sanding procedure.
Painting:
Please refer to round brush lesson if you are having problems with any of the Strokes.
Use sponge brush to paint the wagon with Black. Paint the handle
with Midnight Green. Sand the edges to "roughen them up". Spray with matte
Sealer/Finisher.
Use the sponge brush to basecoat each wheel with Burnt Orange.
Sand and then apply a second coat Float Cad Orange over the basecoat, forming the pumpkin
"sections" Highlight each section with floated Tangerine.
Trace face designs onto tracing paper with a pencil. Place
graphite paper on the center front of basecoated wheels. Place each traced design over the
graphite paper on each wheel and then retrace the design with pencil, transferring the
face to the surface.
Wash in cheek areas with thinned Santa Red. Noses (wheel hubs)
are painted Santa Red. Paint the eye areas with Yellow. Pupil and mouths are painted with
Black. Tongue is painted Burnt Orange. When all paint is dry, use the liner to add tiny
Cad Yellow highlights to the eyes, noses and cheek areas. Tiny teeth are painted White,
using the liner. When dry, use the liner to outline eye details with thinned Black.
Finish
Spray wheels with Sealer/finish. Attach the wheels and hubs to
the wagon!
Have a happy harvest!
Have fun painting!!! Melinda and Annie
