Painting Level: Beginner
Supplies Needed
Delta Ceramcoat
Acrylic Paint:
Heritage Green
Mendocino
White
Black
Golden Brown
Crocus
Tangerine
Dark Forest
Liberty Blue
Eggplant
Instructions
Prep:
Sand
Seal and sand again
Painting:
Heritage Green
Basecoat the flat sides of the heart.
Mendocino
Basecoat the sides of the heart.
White
Basecoat the palette.
Golden Brown
Basecoat the bristle of the brush.
Black
Basecoat the handle of the brush and paint in the finger hole on
the palette.
Paint dabs on the palette are painted in with - Mendocino,
Tangerine, Crocus, Dark Forest, Liberty Blue and Eggplant.
Mendocino
With a liner brush, line 3 dashes for the ferrule.
Crocus
With a liner brush, line in some bristles on the brush, starting
at the tip and pulling towards the ferrule, but only line 2/3rds of the way. Paint your
name above the palette in block letters. Dot the ends of the letters with a tiny dot.
White
With a liner brush, line a highlight line on the brush handle.
Finish:
Let dry and then varnish.
If you are making a pin, glue the pinback on before you varnish.
