Hoppy Spring Bunny Hangers copyright © Jackie

Hi there, I like to have cute little hangers all around
my house and garden.
These two little bunnies just seem to yell.... HURRY UP SPRING
Print out black and white copy (at the end of this project) and resize
according to your surface needs
Materials:
tempered masonite - wire - sharpie marker - old lipstick
- sandpaper
drill - matte sealer - soft cloth - raw sienna oil paint
DecoArt Americana Paint:
buttermilk - gooseberry pink - yellow - white wash -
black
Prep:
I cut the 5"x31/4" rectangles out of tempered masonite
and sanded the edges.
Instructions:
Base coat the entire piece with leaf green and then using
a small check stencil pick up some antique gold wipe off the excess and
then stencil the entire hanger.
Use transfer paper to place your pattern.
The bunny is buttermilk with gooseberry pink ears and
yellow is used for the bee stripes and the bow around the bunnies neck.
The bee wings and the dots on the ears and bow are
whitewash.
You can either use a black paint marker or a liner brush
and black paint to the features and outline the entire bunny.
Lightly spray with matte sealer and referring to the black
and white image enclosed lets shade.
This is done with a soft cloth and raw sienna oil paint.
The last touch is to use that old lipstick and your pinkie
to put the blush on the bunnies.
Seal again, drill two holes at the top, add a wire and
enjoy!
Oh yeah.......HOPPY SPRING
much hugs, jackie
