I had the opportunity to paint this fun project at
my chapter meeting last April. We all had a really fun time and went home with a
finished project. These are quick to paint up and they look great. Everyone
who sees one will want it!! Thank you Carolee for sharing this pattern with us.

Plaid; Deep Blue # 12 Flat Thin down paint , and lightly stroke like your dry brushing or

clean straight line.
Checks; Heritage Blue #12 Flat Stroke squares in the center of each square in the plaid
pattern
with the same technique as the plaid. Allow the brush to make your square by using the
brush flat.
Liner; Antique Lace liner down the center of the plaid pattern over the light blue
squares. Deep Blue #4 round liner around the arch with a wiggle for a pattern.
This project ;
It holds any size candlejar; turn labeled side to the back so you see the candle burn
through the house. This hangs on the wall it is heavy so hang on a good nail or screw.
This is safe since your candle is burning in ajar and encased in metal.
The pattern can have a House , Heart , or Star cut out in the box.
It takes less than 1 hour to paint. Can be done in 20 minutes.
