Boo!
domino necklace
designer: Melinda Frewin
Since I have a hard time finding the
perfect Ephemera, I get mine from books and image CDs.
I love this vintage witch image so much that I HAD to put it on a necklace
and wear it all October. I've had great compliments already!
The colors are much, much better in
person. It was really hard
to scan this dimensional piece.

Finished size: center pendant 1" x 2½"
| SUPPLIES Images: Flying Witch - images from Mini Ephemera clip art & CD book Domino: one with a smooth back (I used a white one) Paint: Mendocino (Delta Ceramcoat) Beads: mix of tiny and small autumn colored beads Charm and jump ring: pumpkin Computer, word processor, color printer: I used Microsoft Word Font: Creeper downloaded from http://simplythebest.net/fonts/fonts/creeper.html Glitter glue: purple Decoupage glue: you can use ModPodge or Golden Gel Medium Glue: one that is thick and dries clear Eyehooks: 2 small Ribbon: black piquot Painting supplies: brushes, palette, paper towels, water basin Drill and small drill bit Needlenose pliers Sandpaper Scissors PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS 2 Print "Boo!". I created a table and filled the background with a color that looked like antique paper. You could also print on white paper and age with a tea stain, acrylic wash, or stamping ink. Trim and decoupage to image. 3 Apply glitter glue above image. Let dry. 4 Apply glue for beads below image and adhere beads. I put the glue on the domino first and sprinkled the beads over the glue. I let it dry and removed the excess beads later. 5 Attach charm to bottom eyehook with jump ring and needlenose pliers. 6 Cut ribbon to fit over your head. Thread through top eyehook and tie. 7 Wear with pride and be prepared to get comments!
